What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on the device of the people visiting them. Some are needed for the site to work and cannot be refused; others are used to measure visits or for advertising, and for those your consent is required before they are installed.
What this website uses
This website does not advertise and does not profile anyone for marketing. It uses only two categories of cookies.
Technical cookies — no consent required
They make the site work and remember the choice you make on this page. They do not identify you.

The consent cookie works the same way for a refusal as for an acceptance: it avoids asking you the same thing every time. For this reason it does not itself require consent.
Statistics cookies — only if you accept them
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It tells us how many people visit the site and which pages they read.

These cookies are not installed until you accept them. On your first visit a banner appears with two equally prominent choices, Accept and Reject, with nothing pre-selected: until you choose, the Google script is not even downloaded. Closing the banner or continuing to browse does not count as consent.
IP addresses are processed in anonymised form and the data is deleted by Google after 14 months. Data may be transferred to the United States: Google LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, in the alternative, the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission apply. Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time from the Statistics preferences link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
You can also manage or delete cookies from your browser settings — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. If you disable technical cookies, some parts of the site may not work as they should.
What is not here
For clarity, we also list what this website does not do: no advertising cookies, no social network pixels, no embedded maps or videos that install third-party cookies, no sharing of data with advertising networks.
If anything changes in the future
If services that install other cookies are added — interactive maps, social content, advertising tools — this page will be updated with the full list before those cookies are activated, as required by the Italian Data Protection Authority’s guidelines of 10 June 2021 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
