Blood oranges
Moro · Tarocco · Sanguinello
The three varieties of the Arancia Rossa di Sicilia PGI, the heart of our production. Their colour is born here, from the temperature swing at the foot of Etna.
Fifty hectares of citrus groves between Francofonte and Mount Etna: PGI blood oranges, blonde oranges and Femminello lemons.
Between Francofonte and Etna the days are hot and the nights are cold. That is where the orange turns red.

Navel · Valencia
Navel opens the season in November, Valencia closes it in June. In between, the whole winter of blood oranges.
Primofiore · Bianchetto · Verdello
The Sicilian lemon that flowers several times a year: three harvests from the same tree, covering the whole year.
Eight varieties taking turns: there is no month of the year without something on the tree. Tap or hover over a variety to see it on the wheel.
The exposure of the groves around Francofonte determines how much sunlight reaches the trees; together with the temperature swing between day and night, it triggers the pigmentation of the Sicilian blood orange.
The bright red in the segments comes from Etna, which makes the nights much colder than the hot, sunny days.
